RCTA Board Members

RCTA Board Members are appointed by the Riverside Park Conservancy to manage the affairs of the Riverside Tennis Association, LLC (RTA). The RTA is the legal entity that employs our staff and to which go all dues, donations and fees. Your membership dues and contributions are therefore fully-tax-deductible. Think of the RTA as dba RCTA. The RTA is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Riverside Park Conservancy.

eryka teisch, President

Eryka Teisch has been playing regularly at the clay courts for the past 6 years. She's employed with Ernst & Young as a Talent Development specialist for financial services. This is her 3rd year on the Board, having served last term as the VP.

ariadna rodenstein, Vice President

Ariadna Rodenstein has been an active member of the RCTA for over a decade, and also competes in USTA leagues. Entering her 4th year on the Board, she serves as VP and previously was Treasurer. Ari is the Development Director at the Immigrant Defense Project (IDP).

laren kende,Treasurer

Lauren Kende has played at the courts for ten years, sponsored the concerts for the last six, and served on the board since 2015. Outside of tennis, she’s a service-oriented agent with Sotheby’s International Realty, helping people successfully navigate the complex process of selling, purchasing and renting NYC real estate.

stephanie vogt, Secretary

This Stephanie's second year of her first term on the board.

mitch askenas

Mitch Askenas grew up playing on NYC Public courts, has been playing on the red clay courts for 2 years and wants to ensure the next generation of players have the same opportunities. Mitch works for Comcast Technology Solutions in business development. Mitch joined the board in 2018.

Susan Curtis

A former RCTA president and winner of dozens of RCTA trophies, Susan is also a member of the Riverside Park Conservancy Board of Trustees and serves as the liaison between RCTA & RPC. She recently retired as a partner of the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.

andrew dominus

Andrew Dominus has been playing at the clay courts for the past 10 years, notwithstanding his weak backhand. He is General Counsel at Seer Capital Management, an investment advisory firm. This is his second term on the Board..

bob garafola

Bob Garafola is a long time resident of the upper west side and a frequent user of Riverside Park. He has recently rediscovered the classic and unique red clay tennis courts in the park and is a new board member of the RCTA. He served for many years as the Deputy Commissioner for Management, Budget and Public Programs for the NYC Parks Dept. He has recently retired and looks forward to working for RCTA and pursuing his interests in tennis, outdoor activities, traveling and social and educational programming opportunities for both youth and adults.

jonathan fayer

Jonathan Fayer is a first time Board member. He is a member of the RCTA Men's Open Ladder and enjoys playing in the many tournaments offered by RCTA throughout the year.

john mascialino

John is a partner in the law firm of Greenberg Traurig LLP in nyc. He has been playing at RCTA for over 10 years and is an active member of the singles ladder. John is also a trustee of the Riverside Park Conservancy.
